The money. This has already been defeated, unfortunately.

its not over. And defeated is the wrong term, as a real defeat would have been the amendment going through to ALLOW 64 oz growlers with the caveat that they basically have to be theme parks with 25 acres and attractions (IE Busch gardens, disney, etc) That could have shut down CCB's tasting room and all tasting rooms!

This is not a victory, but a work in process. Money still has the upper hand, but the case is growing fast for craft breweries, imho.

Hmm I stand corrected. I came out of the gates on this post with the information I had last heard about it which was that it was "dead". Glad to hear that I'm wrong though, there's a lot of cool 64 OZ growlers coming out that I'd like to use on the regular.

It's surprising to me that quarts and gallon sizes are fine, but 1/2 gallons are not.

It used to be a law in Florida that package beer could only be sold in 12, 16, or 32 ounce containers. That stopped a lot of imports that used the liter system. This is memory from a consumer. I would welcome our resident historian's input on how this has evolved, especially now with the growler controversy.
