Heady Topper is one of the few beers I have yet to track down that I really want to try. What beers distributed to Florida do you think could get it done. I have access to all of Cigar City's stuff, but I wouldn't think any of their year round cans would get it done. I also have some regular BCBS. Just wondering what would be fair. Any FL people trade for Heady lately?
I just did a couple trades for Heady. Both with BCBS variants, coffee or barleywine. Your best bet with CCB stuff is probably the seasonal bombers. If you have any Marshal Zhukov you should find a trade pretty easily.
The most "available and distributed" beer I've traded for Heady was White Oak Jai Alai. However, I've recently tried Pirate Bombs & Cycle BA stouts and have gotten crickets, even while going way over $4$ in my offers. I wonder if the weather and distro and limits have slowed the traders currently? I'm going to wait till spring to bother trying again. Or tomorrow. Good luck
I would suspect this is most likely the case. Bad weather equates to some nasty road conditions up there. Also, you don't have many people traveling up there for Heady/HF runs from out of state this time of the year. I suspect in the Spring the influx of travelers will go up (I'll be one of them!).
some of the places where you can get cases, have a 2 4 pak limit for holidays some not all should be easier to get in near future with the lawsons SOS cans now in the mix and fiddlehed ramped production up after the new year I might be able to help out shit still sells out just as fast have to take day off from work to get it
Bourbon county should land this just give it a while. As far as CCB, I wouldn't send a Zhukov off for heady. Maybe some White Oak and Good Gourd for the right eyes. But I believe they also get Cigar City, not sure on the variants though. As always, use seekAbrew to find some locals they may want.
