All good advice. The fact that it's tickets at the door isn't very convenient and honestly it makes me rethink going since I'd like to make sure I drove all the way there to GET in.

I'd hate to drive 8 hours to not get in, or spend all day waiting to get in and then be done and everything blown.

This event seems to be poorly organized........I'm thinking the baton got dropped when Pegs handed it off....I'm going to take a pass this go around

I am here to answer any questions or concerns that you might have about the Floridaweisse bash this weekend. First, the date had to be moved because JWB's brewhouse arrived on the 25th. Jonathan and myself decided on the ticket price of $50/wristband. The maximum number of wristbands is 1000, but we do not and have not expected that number to be reached, we just needed to cap it somewhere. The tickets are all at the door, however they will go on sale starting at 11 AM and the festival will begin at noon. This way you have an hour before the festival starts to get your wristbands so that you're not waiting in line once the fest begins. One of the reasons we decided to go with wristbands instead of pay per pour is so that you don't have to continually go back to the ticket line. Also, the tasting room will be open to the public as normal but no Floridaweisse beers will be available without a wristband. In addition, a wristband does not get you pours of normal beers in the tasting room, that's pay as normal. We have blocked the street for the day so that there is enough room to accommodate everyone that is attending and we have spread out the tastings between Baum Ave, our beer garden, and the production area. Currently the following breweries are confirmed: Green Bench, JWB, CCB, Angry Chair, Coppertail, Rapp, 7th Sun, Intuition, Green Room, Southern Brewing & Winemaking, Late Start, and Overflow.

At this time we are giving away a ticket on our facebook page for those participating. Check here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...71209987219.1073741826.159031024204574&type=1

If you have anymore questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you.

Fantastic. Not crowded at all. Felt like 100-200 people. No line for Wakefield after 30 minutes of opening. Other breweries never had any lines. Only Wakefield to tap out (that I remember) was DFPF and it took a while. The event seemed really well put together, but maybe only because a lot less people than expected showed up. The only obvious miscue was we did not get the 8oz glass like we were promised. I believe the glasses werent ordered in time, so they used old Foeder for Thought plastic cups.

Best event ever! All you could drink wakefield, which was awesome.

There were several other stand outs as well. Overflow paper airplanes was awesome. Huge props to kris from green bench, had several awesome ones, especially champ, juice and habanero champ juice, fucking awesome!

For those living in the St. Pete/Tampa area you can get growler fill of The Burg, Goose, Champ and Second Stage at the brewery right now.

It was a really nice event which I think was probably under populated because of the date change and how they handled tickets. If they had sold tickets online and people knew for sure they would be able to get in, I am sure they would have had more folks show up. I was worried myself since I didn't want to drive 4 hours to be told they sold out.

Wakefield had a line immediately and immediately ran out of his special collab with Stone, the line died out after about an hour maybe and then it was easy to go back and forth. Standouts for me were Late Start Brewing (omg that Sour Sop), Overflow and Seventh Sun (of course JWB as well). Hope to go next year but worried about it being crazy down here in Miami.

Jaw only had a 64oz growler of that collab.... It was my least favorite of the ones they had.
