We had a great experience yesterday. Our server was incredibly nice and the food was really good. I got the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and it surpassed my expectations.

I had some Hot Cheese Soup that was pretty OK. Also caught some tasty smells from random plates at our table.

I ended up opening one of these while packing trades and getting together a list of stuff to trade for some targets..

It's a little hot.. but it's always been that way. I thought it was a solid beer and pretty similar to my experiences with the same beer in the past. This base beer's evolution from Brown Porter to a hybrid Brown Porter/Brown Ale over the years has changed the beer a bit as it is. But it's still a good beer. I'm happy with my purchase.

    Cheers.

The service blows.... Do yourself a favor and go to 3 floyds for a scotch egg, bright smiles, and a cold glass of go-fuck-yerself

Uuh what? I call shennanigans because my group was #1-4 in line and got no such thing. Where in the line do these rumors start?

I have never had a good meal at Flossmoor. Very low quality food. Fish and chips are the worst I've ever had. All of their seafood I've tried has been mediocre-to-poor. You can tell most of the stuff is packaged frozen. If you ever eat there, stick to the basics (grilled sandwich of some sort). Something its hard to mess up.

I've learned (over and over the hard way) the past 10 years, food is not the reason to enjoy Flossmoor Station.

Saw this at a shop in the NW burbs for $25. Is it worth the $10 premium they're charging?

Figured. They also had Black Note and Aracadia BA Imperial Stout for like #12 each, and I think Behemoth for $18 or $20. Seemed overly high on all accounts.

No wonder half a case of Black Note just sat there.

Love Flossmoor Station for the beer b que ribs.. Out of this world delicious, paired with an ipa on tap. Above average, beers and excellent customer service. I give the place a,nod over three flyds for a nice relaxing family atmosphere.
