Agreed. I heard it's caramel forward, sweet malt, hot bourbon, and even tempered but present hop presence. Overall consensus was good but not great. This is all hearsay, i havent tried it but would like to.

 

Fireside Chat was really tasty. It was well-balanced, had a little hop bite, but I didn't get a ton of booziness honestly. We opened a year-old batch two Hi-Fi Rye that morning, and I believe the group consensus is that fresh Fireside was equally as tasty as the Hi-Fi and definitely better fresh.

 

just wait a few weeks til the people wanting whalz are done trading and you can probably get it for some limited beers..... or wait til i stop to see you in may

What was the bottle count on Fireside Chat again? I want to say it was under 700.

I need to track down a bottle of this for an international trading buddy. Does anyone know what this has traded for recently?

I can see from the other posts in this thread that it was < 700 bottles.

Would something like HOTD Matt/Michael work?

Or if anyone is an eclipse fan, I would trade 3 bottles of 2010/2011 Eclipse for a bottle if there's interest there.

Just trying to figure out where to start my ISO.

I'd say that you'd get close to 110 people sending you a message if you offer up a Matt. Probably the same number of people would respond if you offered up 3 bottles of eclipse.
