It seems excessively expensive, but given how miserably unfriendly NY is to business and how unreasonable the state liquor board is, I'm not surprised it is this high. According to their website, they have to buy all of the beer they serve, since NY in its infinite wisdom made it illegal for anyone to donate the beer to the festival. They had to cancel a festival a couple years back because of all the regulatory issues NY has.
Have they released this year's list? My thoughts on this festival have been the same for a while - the beers don't warrant the price.
Was not impressed with last years VIP selection I know they do ask for feedback and I do appreciate that Unfortunately I feel they jumped the shark after 2009 The SouthWedge fest continues to impress I cannot lie !!
Haven't been to this festival since it was held in the Frontier field concourse (which was way overcrowded). Haven't been back since it was moved to the field. On the fence for this one. $35 for general admission ticket.
Gen admission was a great time last year. Not too crowded, being on the field Under the lights was great and all of the fall seasonals were out in full force. VIP looked kinda weak being far away from the field but that is supposed to change this year. Sure it isn't the real beer expo but it was a nice fest last year, especially compared to when it was held in the concourse
