Flower Power Availability in Philadelphia

    Hi all,

    I'm moving back to Philly in a month and am curious about how readily available Flower Power is. I saw it once at Pinocchio's in Media and got some in a trade with a SEPA BA today.

    Is Flower Power available regularly in the city and, if so where, and if not, how often is it in stock? I'm hoping this will become a staple in my fridge. It's so delicious!

    For a stretch it was pretty easy to find on draft or in bottles. I can't remember exactly when, but I want to say late summer or so it stopped showing up on shelves and taplists. here was a thread about it in SEPA on the old BA, so I'm not sure if it can be dug up. I had one on tap last weekend and it tasted nice and fresh. Hopefully some bottles came with that shipment and we won't have another dry spell.

    Yeah, I think they went through a dry spell with it back in the fall, but it seems to be back around pretty regularly now. It's on tap at a lot of establishments in the area, so some fresh stuff must have just come down.

    It was on tap at Al's (of Hampden) last weekend and they had bottles as well. If they have it in Harrisburg, I have to think it's also available up in Philly.

    I see it at my local distributor in Kennett Square pretty often. I haven't looked in a few weeks though.

    My local beer distributor has not had Flower Power in months. They do receive other Flower Power beers. I spoke to the manager and he simply stated that the wholesale distributor will not ship him Flower Power.

    I have a local beer bar that is also a bottle shop. He gets six-packs of Flower Power from time to time. He sent an e-mail the middle of last week that he would have Flower Power later in the week (Friday?). I went there Saturday and they were out. The cashier guy stated that they sell out of Flower Power immediately.

    I personally have been unable to purchase Flower Power in bottles for the last 6-9 months.
