Hey W. Coast BA's. I've got a couple of bottles of both FdR and RdF that I haven't yet opened. I know that The Bruery couldn't guarantee quality/had a drink by date of June 30. Just wondering if anyone has opened any of their bottles recently and how it seems to be drinking. Was planning to bring some to a bottle share and just kind of curious what I may be in for.

Any thoughts or comments you have are appreciated.

I opened a Rue d'Floyd on Wednesday of last week and it tasted great. It'd been refrigerated the whole time. I maybe imagine a slight minute tartness but maybe only because I knew it was a possibility. Either way, it was delicious. The coffee faded a touch and the cherry was more prominent.

I picked up some bottles for a Member I Trustee for about 3 weeks ago, the girl at the counter said they are still fantastic.

Those Blakrr cans you sent me were still tasting good too.

No signs of anything if you have kept them in the fridge.

And if not? My trustee still has two awaiting to send me. Curious if they're dead by now.

Lol I'm hoping for the same thing. Have one that has been out since I brought it home. But haven't opened it yet.

No sign of anything negative at all with both having tried them both again within the last two weeks.

But hey, I'm sure folks will still talk shit in saying that the three floyds versions are better.

Had a FdR a week or so ago. It was in my fridge the whole time at 38 degrees. Still good. No infection.

I got 3. First one was fine. I've been storing the other two at room temp.

I had Rue 2 weeks ago and Floyd last week. They were stored in a refrigerator and both were drinking well with no hint of infection.

They are starting to show signs of infection. Opened one a few days ago that gushed.

Stored in the fridge or stored warm? Was the taste noticeably different, or just a gusher?

Fridge stored. Taste was fine but gushed. Wasn't full blown infected but is starting to show signs.

I bought both and then actually got to try them at the tasting room after the fact, only to discover that I hated Floyd. I still have a bottle and I've been purposefully storing it unrefridgerated. I think at this point I should go down and shake it around, or maybe leave it in warm sunlight for a day before waiting six more months to try it again. You know, for science.
