This reminds me of Blade Runner. I'm going to wait for Richmond. Stone needs some Southern seasoning.
Luckily I get to fly over stone pretty frequently while dropping off patients at the near by hospital. It is a pretty cool sight
Meanwhile dudes are brewing great beers in their basements. Craft beer is reaching this weird level for me. I dont care much for any of the hype or labels or marketing or limited nature. Just make beer damn it. Rates run about $875 for 2-3 people. I guess not so bad. Beer is involved afterall
It looks like it would be a good time, but we are putting a kid through college and it's a bit extravagant. Driving to the brewery would be a helluva lot cheaper and let's face it, flying is cool but it's really about the beer.
It's really great seeing local businesses band together to offer something like this. SD breweries are having a huge economic impact, and it's so refreshing to see everyone EMBRACING craft beer. The fact that something like this is even of interest to people is a testament to the future of craft beer.
Sounds like a recipe for airsickness on the second leg of the tour... wonder how many times they will have to clean up hoppy puke from the chopper...
While Escondido isn't exactly picturesque, armpit may be an exaggeration.. I'd go with Barrio Logan or Chula.. Or San Ysidro.. Or Otay..
