That aside, I'd keep it to myself, if you bring it to the bartender's attention then EVERYBODY will want one! (yeah, old joke, I know)

 

Sorry for going off topic, but how is Brussels? Where have you been drinking while there?

 

I'd pick the fly out and drink the beer.

 

an englishman, irishman and scottsman are sitting at a bar and a fly lands in the head of the englishman's beer. "pour this out and pull me a new one" cries the englishman. a while later a fly drops into the scotts beer. "ugh," he comlains and picks the fly out and flicks it off. I've heard of bees and yellow jackets climbing into open cans of beer only to be swallowed...OUCH! All the more reason for serving in a glass.....

How to tell the sex of a fly:

A woman walked into the kitchen to find her husband stalking around with a fly swatter.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

“Hunting flies,” he responded.

“Oh! Killing any?” she asked.

“Yep, 3 males, 2 females,” he replied.

Intrigued, she asked. “How can you tell them apart?”

He responded,

The alcohol should kill most of the fly germs and it is gross, but I wouldn't drain pour unless like 90% of the beer was gone by the time the little bastard got in there.
