Flying dog vintage question

    So I was organizing cellar when I notice I have 6 flying dog horn dog barley wines with a "vintage 15AA" stamp is really a 2015 bottling because I know I did not buy a 2015 vintage. On purpose anyway.. thanks

    If it says 15 I would assume so. You could always ask the brewery when their release dates are and they may be able to give feedback.

    So I just re read my original post. Probably had too many out of the cellar while cleaning. My original post was about how I found 6 horn dog barley wines in my basement I thought I had bought the 2018 vintage but the sides of the bottles are stamped with "vintage15aa" I never active bought the 15 vintage and I have 17 vintage I bought with "vintage17aa" so I was asking if anyone knew if what I had was actually the 15 or if i was reading the label wrong.

    I would guess that whomever you bought them from had them since 2015 or their distributor was sitting on some vintage stuff. I would think the latter is unlikely.

    Or perhaps the 8 looks like a 5 if the ink isn't clear?
