Anyone know the reason for the lower abv. Last year it was 6.3% now 4.6%. Anybody get a chance to try this year's batch?

rumor has it the beer wasn't very good from the start...I never tried it, I would say its an efficiency issue but not at that level, must be a new recipe

this beer wouldn't even be regarded if 'Sandy' wasn't in the title. pure mediocrity. as for the abv change, not sure.

    It's a very mediocre beer. I didn't even bother with their NJ350.

I really enjoyed it from the 750's last year. No idea where these comments are coming from.

    Really solid hoppy wheat ale.

I picked up a 12 pack and the bottles say the abv is 6.2% so I'm not sure where the 4.6 is coming from.

You guys want a correct spelling on Jersey and also want them to get the abv right on the label? That may be asking a little too much.

So now that it's out, any idea if the beer is the same or different from when it was limited released?

Yes. It's in smaller bottles and not as limited

Well no one from the TTB is going to be fining Flying Fish for a spelling error. A full 2% off on ABV would be a bad, bad move.

I enjoy Exit 16 as well and liked FU Sandy last year. I wish they would update their Hopfish and Extra Pale Ale. I just dont think they are as good as a lot of other IPAs and Pale Ales out there.

The labels do say 6.2% on them so it must be the blog.

What are they charging for the 12 pack of FU SANDY?

I don't remember the exact amount, but it was right around $20.00 at the brewery.

Saw it for $16.99 in North Jersey.
