Somerdale, NJ — After almost three years Flying Fish Brewing Company is finally releasing a new big bottle Exit Series beer. And this one is indeed big—15% ABV! Exit 3 Blueberry Braggot is an ancient style of beer that’s a cross between mead, which is a honey wine, and beer. Not many hops but lots of New Jersey honey and Hammonton blueberries and Belgian yeast make this a one of a kind experience. Each sip reveals new flavors and complexity.

To celebrate, they will be doing the first pouring in the tasting room at 900 Kennedy Boulevard on Friday, January 30th. Join Somerdale Mayor Gary Passanante as he taps a special firkin (which includes orange and lemon peel and whole blueberries) at 4:00pm. They will have mini-flights available with samples of each of the two versions of Exit 3. They’ll also have 750ml bottles for sale. Tours and regular tastings as well.

Started as the web's first virtual brewery in 1995, Flying Fish became a real brewery the next year and is now the largest of New Jersey's craft breweries.
