We've got a new brewery opening in Bossier City. This will be the third to open in northwest Louisiana. Heres the info from their facebook page: Flying Heart Brewing is proud to announce the Grand Opening of our tasting room located at 700 Barksdale Blvd - Friday May 1. Flying Heart Brewing will offer three flagship beers in local restaurants, which will be distributed on tap locally by Glazer’s. Those flagships are Firehouse Blonde, 6 of Hearts and Black Heart Smooth Black Ale. They’ll also be producing three other beers that can only be sampled at the tasting room. Those exclusive brews are Louisiana Amber, Milk Maid Stout and Barrel 52. I'm really looking forward to trying all they have to offer!
I was up there last weekend and drove by to see if they were open. I called the brewery to see when they were officially opening to the public. The lady I spoke to said two to three weeks because they were waiting on some signature from the state. Looks like its going to have a pretty nice outdoor area. Can't wait either!
I tried each of their six beers last weekend! Good Stuff! Atmosphere and building is really cool and adds a tons to the experience! Looking forward to what these guys do in the future.
