I believe last year there was more than 140 beers there. 15 tickets is enough. I only used 13 last year.

Pro tip: Bring some little dixie cups and split samples with a friend so you can try more beers. You'll probably want to try far more than just 15 beers.

You need to get more intimate with your beer group if you're splitting samples by pouring into different cups. My group prefers the snowball method.

This conjures up some disturbing mental images. I could imagine if this went viral... 5 guys 1 (beer) sample

Speaking of Fitgers, I hope their Framboise is there...though it is a very small chance.

And it's not too hard to make a tray to keep them all organized. I've been doing this for two years with a group of tasting buddies. 15 tickets per person * 4 people = 60 samples each. A very enjoyable way to navigate the event.

To those who were asking the benefits of one session over the other and why so many are looking for afternoon over evening... Besides the IMBIBE members, and the knowledge that you have a chance to try absolutely everything, I'm not sure there's much of a reason. The brewers are asking to bring a set amount for each half and not pour over that amount in the first half. This usually ends up with some beers closing tap somewhat fast. Also some people like not knowing the winners so you don't have to fight the lines for winning beers.

I prefer the night session. As far as I know, no beer was tapped out in the morning and I had the hance to try it all. Also, I like knowingwho won what as iI'm sampling, and instead of kegs being closed up at the halfway point, they are open until finished.

    pretty much this.

funny, i recall last year's tickets selling much faster for the evening session and people were trying to trade up for the evening over the afternoon. i much prefer the afternoon as it lets me get home and sober up and party a second time. being that the gf works in the early afternoon, i was forced to get the evening session, which i also don't mind.
