Oh I know, it was more for example purposes. But that awesome blueberry thing from perennial did kick kinda fast. As I walk up those stairs, I scan that pamphlet like a T2000 and prioritize my first two tastes (mine and my wife's which are realistically my first two, divide and conquer).

 

So if I bought an imbibe membership today.. does it count for FOBAB? and does it last for 1 year or just through 2013?

 

I don't think it would go into effect until next year, but don't quote me on that as I am not a member.

i don't know if it would get you early access still, but i think so. im also pretty sure its a calendar year thing, so it would only last til end of december. theres also a sweet end of year party to look forward to.

November 14, 2013- Today Upland Brewing Company and New Belgium Brewing Company announced the completion of two collaboration sour ales, a light and a dark. The light blend, called Light Synth, is 50% New Belgium Felix, 40% Upland Sour Reserve, and 10% Upland Cherry Lambic. Dark Synth is a blend of 50% New Belgium Oscar, 40% Upland Dantalion, and 10% Upland Raspberry Lambic.


New Belgium will be bringing Dark Synth and a blend of Light Synth with 10% Boon Kriek to FoBAB this weekend

Awesome. I spoke with the owner last spring and he was just putting stuff in barrels. It will be interesting to try these.

I agree they are underrated, they make some great beer.

i concur. i had this earlier this year at their taproom. i tried bribing the brewer with my beard to pour me a growler to share with other folks in chicago. it didn't work.

 

Nice! I had it earlier this year too and also tried getting them to fill a growler of this but to no avail. Unfortunately I didn't/don't have a long enough beard to bribe anyone with.

 

I did this last year.
While the beers are fantastic, I don't recommend it.
Unless you want to kiss Sunday and Monday goodbye.
