All side project stuff went fast and was great. Evening session goers prioritize. Bcbs barley wine randalled with intelligentsia espresso was a highlight. The new Belgium upland collabs were all great.

how in the fucking christ did that bell's thing win best of show? good beer, yeah, but everything from side project blew me away in a way that the bell's didn't remotely touch.

edit: new belgium dark side was also amazing. after you get your fill of side project, get that.

But somehow Track 13 and that Atlas Barleywine won metals..

This' ll always be a festival that confuses and shocks as far as medals.

That said the event was run very well.

Was there from 10 Am - 8 Pm and had no issues

Kentucky Mountain was outfuckingstanding. As was Dark Side and Light Side. Amazing.

And honestly, John killed it with Radlersnake. Just delicious.

Also, congrats to Nick as I told him tonight on the stairs but Cthulu deserves that gold IMO

So was GI Backyard Bramble and BA Barleywine even pouring during the second session?

Side Project Blueberry Flanders was damn tasty...the highlight for me.

Hell of a great event last night. Seemed less cramped and better managed than last year.

BA Plead the Fifth and Bo & Luke were two of the standouts to me. I was more into local stuff than whalez -- drank everything from Pipeworks and Solemn Oath, some Rev, Spiteful, Haymarket, 2Bros, FFF, Lunar....

Many thanks to all that were involved. This years fest was very well managed, and the environment comfortable. Great job, looking forward to next year already!

Same here. I got the last pout of Blueberry Flanders and never found BA Abraxas or backyard bramble in the second session.

I also got a nice commemorative plastic disposable generic GI cup to take with me. How hard is it to not run out of cups???

    working mom is good.

One trick pony Kentucky Mountain was extremely tasty.

Dark Horse Where the Wild Things Macerate and Blacklist Honeysuck Lambic were some of my favorite non bourbon beers. Oh yeah, dat side project was amazing.
