FOBAB 2012 - November 17th

Two sessions, with I *think* 400 tickets sold her session last year. FoBAB is so sweet...it's going to be hard to decide. Especially since Mike and I were planning on bringing our 1/6th barrel of BCBS to the Founders party...might have to just drink it all ourselves on the shores of Lake Superior.

 

I feel like your ticket number is waaaaaay low. I think tickets per session are past the 4 digit mark from what I remember. Or about there at.

 

Well I was so drunk after 16 Dosvidanya's from De Stihl I had sex with 400 people that night, so maybe my count was a bit off.

 

I should hang out with you it sounds like (no homo).

 

Tell them it didn't have any impact on the 3F's Anniversary party.

Decisions, decisions. I guess I'll worry about getting tickets first, and then figure out if I really have a choice or not. A little disappointed there is this much hype already, expecting it to sell out in less than a minute now.

 

Usually the afternoon session sells out, then the evening a few days later. Which is kind of nice (unless you absolutely have to do the early sess), because the first session selling out gives you a warning to get your ass in gear and buy your ticket.

 

Do we know when tickets generally go on sale based on previous years?

I don't think this is true.

FoBAB was historically the 1st weekend of November for the longest time.

I think FFF planned their party for the week after.

I think ICBG, late might I add, folded to pressure and trying to help that Hop Tacular festival.. and then moved their own fest back.. but didn't tell everyone.

FoBAB has been moved back an additional week (3rd weekend of November) this year.

It used to be like clockwork.. first Saturday of November..

Because I ticked it. While it was a bit young it was still damn tasty. Will be much better with some age on it. Fobab will have 100 beers that I could never get my hands on.

 

While nothing is confirmed for the lagunitas taproom, it was greatly hinted they'd open in November. Perhaps an opening party clashing with other November dates?
