Going to session 1 as well. can't wait to start the November weekend off with some amazing Barrel Aged beers! I'd say a little bottle share would be in order, but this is definitely NOT the event you want to pregame for. However, like @TastyDelicousness mentioned, meeting up, shaking hands and enjoying some awesome beers sounds like a good idea to me!

I can't find last year's program but I'll scan mine if no one else posts first.

    You can find 2012's here:

It probably will be. I highly doubt there will be multiple lines for the same beer so now you're going to be standing in that (insert hyped beer) line with however many percentage more people that UIC can hold over the Arts Center.

There won't be multiple lines, everyone still is bringing 5 gallons per session. So a smaller percentage will try the whatever hyped beer. So basically you'll have to choose between ba abraxas, fuzzy, or whatever BCS variant, no way you could hit them all like I did last year. Or skip all the whalezbro and hit anything else with no line for the first half hour.

Step one: get nearest beer to calm your nerd-nerves. Step two: find your whale. Step three: repeat.

Or buy an IMBIBE membership and next year enter an hour early to get all of your whales out of the way sans line.

I looked at the rest of the ImBIBE membership benefits and initially thought "wow! That's totally awesome" and then realized I'd probably never actually use the rest of it and would end up just paying $40 to get into FoBAB an hour early.

A Draft Magazine subscription is $35 alone and it's included.

A heads up to anyone interested but my friend just bought a ticket to session 2 off of TM. I'm guessing the people that claimed they bought more than 2 tickets got their xtra tix cancelled when TM matched emails/names with multiple purchases.

Although that doesnt do much good. There were only a few beers last year that were there the year before.

Looking back at that list, and I wish they would've used the real names for the Off Color beers.

Tom Korder is a Jerk is a much better name than Cherry Trouble.

Yeah that's what happens from year to year. The better breweries don't just bring the same stuff year after year.
