I'll be at Revolution tonight and you'll know who I am as I'll be all decked out like a goon in my cycling gear.

Good thing I can get some beers to go as I can't capitalize on a Monday night mid-bike ride.

 

I wonder if they'll even sell anything tonight. Taproom is closed Mondays usually, I came up early to chill for a few hours and they're closed.

 

Whats up with Rev tonight??

 

I was there until 7pm. Shaved headed guy in a grey button down minding his own near the shuffleboard dealy as I SMELL BAD when I ride home from work.

Rev was great. Shame of it though was the bartenders were overwhelmed and I couldn't get any Deth's Tar or Unsessionable to go so I went to Binny's Lakeview, wicked shame.

 

Those poor guys were hoppin, honestly should have seen more people throwing down tips

 

Speaking of RevBrew, they'll be pouring:

Have they posted the listing of what will be poured?

 

Question for those who went to the volunteer meeting or who have some familiarity with the layout of the event and the UIC Forum:

Will the line to get in be outdoors, or will there be an indoor waiting area/lobby before the doors open for the general (non-IMBIBE) admission on Friday? Thanks!

 

No, and they most likely won't. People from the Friday session typically post pictures of the program online.

 

I recall last year someone did that the morning of the first session, a volunteer possibly.

 

I'm looking forward to BuckleDown's Woodford Shady and Rye Barrel Rye Ale, Surly's Sours, Lunar's BA IPA, Central Waters (hoping for the BW), and GI.

 

They don't announce the lineup ahead of time. You won't know the full list until the judging is over. People attending the first session will undoubtedly post pics of the program.

 

Anyone keeping a conglomerate list of speculated beers this year?

 

Any of you volunteers know if they are letting you bring in backpacks (to hold my jacket instead of the coat check), or bottles of water?

 

I carried one last year with no problem just for this reason.

Ohh, Lord have mercy that just took me from 6:00 to noon in a heartbeat. Coffee randalled BCBBW is exquisite.
