My first time attending....do you guys usually stay the full 4 hours?

 

I will be there today, non-typical looking beer drinker, no beard, no beer belly, blond hair. Come up and say hi if you see me, most likely pounding the sours all night. Cheers everyone and be safe!

Obviously up to you. My MO is the Irish exit with 5 minutes left in the fest. if you use all of your tickets, there are additional tickets for sale (IIRC, $1 per ticket and you can buy as many or as few as you like). If you get hungry, they've had food in the past. Last two years it was worth it to stick around just for the views.

 

My body is use to it by now, wish you had the friday session, still would love to shake hands with the best upland proxy out there.

not sure but i know 1 of us will be unboxing a bunch of beers!!The other will be drinking lots of samples.
Its easy to mod from my phone anyways, with smart phones these days its like im a walking computer, ill keep checking in to at least post so pics.

I'll b there tonight, anyone heard if there will be a coat check? It's my first time going, every year I hear about it the day after, so glad I got a ticket this year!

Just a heads up , if for whatever reason you cant find them, I would call ticketmaster. They might be able to cancel those tix and put a new set of tix for you at the will call box office for you. The only reason I mention this is because our wonderful USPS system must have lost my tix for a few days (or weeks). Once my tix showed up it looked as is my tix were soaked in a puddle of rain water for a couple of days, so when I opened my envelope the tix were stuck together and when I tried to carefully pull them apart the barcodes were destroyed. I called ticketmaster and they canceled those tix and put 2 new tix for me at the will call window. The ticketmaster agent mentioned something about a "Guaranteed entry" to me on the phone.

Not sure if this has been mentioned already but for those trying to get a good drinking base before the fest or those hungry afterward, traditional Chicago polish stand Jim's Original and The Express Grill are right around the corner from the Forum, adjacent to the Ryan at 1250 S Union.

 

Yeah, good call. There are still a few hold-overs from the old Maxwell Street area. Awesome, greasy food.
