    With the introduction of a Friday time slot the brewers will be responsible for producing more beer or so I assume. To help control the variable of how much beer will be required the ticket per pour may be enforced more. Last thing they want to see happen is someone running out of beer. Just a thought but you never know.

    Just do what I do... get two pours of Utopias at the end of the night. You'll be feeling right as rain.

    Yeah, that was so awesome. I just kept walking up at the end of the afternoon session getting pour after pour of BCBW, Juliet, Templeton Rye BCBS, etc.

    So getting tickets for FoBAB is a similar process to Dark Lord Day? Don't know how to feel about that...

    I think most go though probably 40 or so different beers, as I shared and sipped with friends without cold sores the whole time. But as I walked out, there was a few spare tix in my pocket I gave to a friend walkin in.

    I ended up finding about 15 extra tickets on the floor last year so I had no problems with tickets. Had to give a bunch away towards the end of the night.

    Love the addition of an extra day and more floor space. Loved the venue last year, but if they can increase the number of tickets sold and increase my chances of getting one, even better. Will probably just mean an extra ridiculous line for the BA Abraxas :stuck_out_tongue:

    Hoping there's no elevator line at this venue either.

    Easy there, boys. First off, I get how both fests work (I've been to DLD, though not FoBAB). I also don't remember asking for anything in the post. Maybe I confused you guys; I forgot DLD didn't use Brown Paper Tickets for their event (they used Crowd Surge), and so I was simply worried there'd be the same controversy with these tickets(Crowd Surge essentially started selling DLD tickets 15 minutes early).

    And sure, DLD is obviously a more popular/hyped event, but since I do "chicagocraftbeerbro," I also know that Chicago loves it's BA beers, so that shit is going fast. I appreciate the offer of a handout though!
