I was mainly concerned with the volunteers that will have to put up with a horde of neckbeards complaining "he got more."

Very possible. Maman is a barrel aged version of the Sump/Abraxas/17 base beer. It's damn tasty from what I hear

 

Yep. From what I know their BA stouts are as follows. Sump, 17, Abrax, Maman, and Maman in Evan Blue Barrels.

 

Its very delicious.

 

The metal cup is unique but like others have said metal may change the taste of the beer. Plus I looking at a beer is part of the experience. It's not a huge deal but a little disappointing for me.

Does that actually happen? I guess I had such a positive experience last year that I thought everybody came and went happy...

 

You would think thats how people would be but you never know. This is the first year im working the event we shall see.

With regards to "brewer's cups," I was going to suggest the same possibility. Last year, I think brewers had mini shakers, as opposed to the mugs we received. Seems strange that brewers would be using tin cups, haha. Maybe the tin cups are just a souvenir item sold where they sell the tshirts? That'd be my guess.

I have definitely seen a pic of the mason jars with pour-line and all, so I'd say that's what we'll be getting.

My friend is there now and they brought Blue Label which is the base beer for Abraxas.

Pro tip: Take a generic brand zantac 30 minutes prior to the start of FOBAB.

 

They also won't shatter on the floor. What a good idea
