if referring to me - not at all! (i wish) I volunteered last year for IMBIBE and I know a few old employees of GI who, when we go to nearby festivals (FOBAB/great taste) they always know the people pouring by name

The guild organizers hound the volunteers to take tickets so don't blame them blame the law.

They send you the link to buy the tickets early if you are an imbibe member. Not sure you can still join now. I think there was a post a few pages back about something they said on FB.
(On cell or id find it for you)

It looks like the IMBIBE page is redirecting to a page to buy a women's t-shirt at the moment. So, I'm guessing the window to join is closed.

Last year, they sold tickets through ticketmaster on August 25th (give or take a day). Event is not listed on Ticketmaster or brown paper tickets (which they have used in the past). but, it's usually a few days after the sales to ImBIBE members

my only option is to get tickets for the Friday session. I'm supposed to be in a wedding all day Saturday. Hoping to make that work. #carnauba:stuck_out_tongue:

Is there a ticket limit per person? Trying to figure out if our group of 4 all need to be online to purchase that morning?

Also, is there an advantage to going to the Friday time slot? In other words, will a good portion of the highly sought after stuff already be gone by Saturday?

If you are getting the pre-sale it is 1 per person. If you are buying the general release, I think the limit is 4 or 8. Last year there were no issues getting general tickets.

As for Friday vs Saturday, I don't think there is a huge difference. Most breweries are bringing great stuff to have all throughout the weekend, not just session 1. There may be a drop off between Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, but still plenty of great beer to be had.

@blue-dream I'll see ya there buddy.

Assuming the rules haven't changed, entry requirements are one 1/6 barrel (or equivalent bottles) per session. Every session should be equal.

The only more advantageous time slot is the Saturday evening session, assuming you have non-IMBIBE tickets. That's the only session this year where early entry won't crush through anything before GA.
