Incredibly let down with GI '16 lineup. Prop was a smokey, spicy mess. No balance to it at all. Preferred '15. Coffee was thin and flat. Tasted like watered down Dunkin Donuts iced coffee. Completely changed my opinion on lining up at Binnys for Black Friday.

Thank you very kindly. It'll make some good reading on the train.

I was pouring Prop 16... Did not last past imbibe members. Everyone wanted huge pours, than they drank it. Realized it was a mess and did not want as much as they thought.

Prop 16 was just not good. This is was the first year I can remember it wasn't worthwhile to spend much time in the GI line. There were many other great beers though. The cherry aged Utopias was in the Fruit Beer area and I guess it took people a while to figure out it was there. The pours were small but you don't need a huge pour with that one.

I spoke to the brewer from Boston beer company and asked how much a keg conceivably costs. He said between 3k and 4K, and these are the only 3 in existence.

They aged it on cherries specifically for this event.

I just want to pile on and say that my group of 4 all thought Peach Climacteric was the best beer at the fest. Mexican Achromatic was one of our favorites as well. My fiance and I are figuring out when we can make it out to visit you now since we enjoyed your beers so much! Cheers and have fun today!

What the hell is wrong with GI lately, they had been so on with bourbon county for so long, now it seems the quality has went off the cliff...Even before prop 15 was infected it was a sweet mess....so what is their strategy? Make a similar 2016 variant to follow in its footsteps...they might need some new leadership at the top and quick

Prop 16 was terrible. Prop 14, however, was amazing and worth the time in line. For those going tonight, GI changed the taps on the hour, so I'd recommend getting line about 10 minutes before that and check twitter to see what they're tapping. They usually posted it about 5 minutes before the hour.

I have to say I liked the 16 GI Barleywine. It didn't seem as sweet as past years. The regular BCBS was still solid as well.

2 bottles left for reg session , i wanted another pour, but it wouldnt have been right. when you walk in it was directly to your left, first row almost last booth. The atrial was directly to your right when you walked in last booth. The nocturnal was hidden in the back sour room.

I have to imagine by the time they tapped Prop '16 (9pm) people's palates were WRECKED. So I'm not gonna take cold 2oz pours 3 hours into a BA Beer Fest as gospel. Guess I'll find out for myself tonight.

Prop 16 overpowered any wrecked palate. You might enjoy it. No one I was with did.

Well it was on tap at 5pm and first thing I had...was underwhelmed for sure, the pepper heat didn't "fit" with the rest of the profile
