Focal Banger...by the case

So I know focal banger is only for on site consumption right now, but how are so many people getting this in trades? Guessing people know people working at restaurants/bars

 

Focal finds its way out the back doors. I believe I read an interview with Jen saying Heady distribution would be scaled back a bit (same accounts smaller deliveries. Prob due to selling at brewery again) and focal would be distributed to the same accounts/stores as heady. No plans for a expanding the distro area

 

I'm surprised to hear that they're going to reduce the amount of heady they distribute to bars/restaurants. What are they going to do with the increase in production? Retailers? Or are they going to sell it out of the brewery again?

 

Sell heady , focal at new brewery and rotate other recipes

 

Maybe donate to local food pantries and soup kitchens?

 

They are not increasing the production of Heady, it stays the same. They are going to sell a boat load at the brewery so they need to scale back the stores that currently receive it.

 

Hmmmm? That seems a little foul, given that when they could no longer sell out of their original location they completely relied on these accounts / distribution channels. If true, hopefully they sorted that piece out, or are in the process of doing so, on good terms.

 

Eh, I would guess that their accounts were very happy to get increased supplies and doubt they would have had any trouble finding new accounts for anyone that wasn't. They did the stores a favor, not the other way around....

 

If they're currently producing Focal Banger in Waterbury they have to be increasing production of heady if they're moving the focal banger production to Stowe. Right?

 

Yes! Friggin' CT stores should realize this about G-Bot! What a joke down there!

 

I think they only produced 400 bbls of focal last year so yeah heady will most likely increase but not by that much. I think with the huge increase in focal production the demand for heady will drop off a bit. I perfer focal to heady and with it starting for the summer, focal will be my go to beach beer for the summer.

 

I beleive that the retailer will also receive some focal
