Looks like Julio's is doing a release party. Anyone know of this stuff is worth any excitement? They have a DIPA.

Had the Fair Maiden IIPA at the Vermont Brewers Festival and it almost stole the show. I really enjoyed it! I have had the IPA and the Ginger Wheat. These were solid but not worth seeking out like the IIPA.

Saw Foley for the first time at River Valley Coop in Northampton last night. The Fair Maiden caught my eye and I looked it up and it seems to be very highly regarded. Then I found the $9.65 price tag on the 1pint 9 ounce bottle. Just wasn't feeling spending that much on a single bottle so I passed. I buy expensive beer all of the time and will probably buy it if they have any left, just caught me off guard a little. They also had the IPA and another style in stock for $6.99 for bombers.

I like it. Our place in Rochester VT is only about 20 minutes from them in Brandon. I've tried most of their beers except the Fair Maiden IIPA, which is usually brewery only and sells fast as I understand. The Brown is good. The Ginger Wheat is a great, refreshing summer beer. The Native IPA wasn't my style. I'm tempted to go to Julios for the Fair Maiden, but have easy access to their other beers.

Foley Brothers already hit Rapid Liquors in Stoneham (Fair Maiden) and is being delivered tomorrow to Redstone. Based on the hype the stores are doing one per with no holds. You should start seeing them pop up more and more in MA now.

Paid almost $11 for a bottle. It better blow me away. At the very least I'll have a nice swing top bottle for homebrew.

Wasn't able to get the DIPA but picked up a IPA. Excited to try it.

Thought it was decent but certainly not at the level the hype is taking it to. I can think of a half dozen other local IIPA's I would pick over it and that cost a lot less.

Went to Julio's today and had a sample of Maiden, nice flavor but no way am I paying $10.99 for 500 ml of a non BA beer. Pretty much a non starter for me.

Stopped by the "brewery" last year and the beer was undrinkable. Guess they've upped their game.

Wow steep! Not sure why brands new to a market enter at such high prices. That's as bad as paying $16-18 for 16oz Against the Grain bottles

Not only "brand new to this market" but they need to look no further than their own state for examples of a world class DIPA being sold at a fraction of their per oz cost.

Expensive stuff indeed. Really good DIPA and a good IPA. Next time i'll pass though. $10.99 doesn't make sense.
