Foley Brothers love?

Was at FB on Fri, no Prospect. Had to settle for Mutiny, P of 8 and FM. Then headed to Stowe/Waterbury area, no Prospect anywhere.

 

Got a Prospect and a Pieces of 8 from a friend last week and really enjoyed them both.
Prospect -> Pieces of 8 imo.

 

Beverage Warehouse in Winooski had quite a bit of Prospect yesterday.

 

Fair madian, maple brown and a little Hawian King on tap available at the brewery. Saturday pieces of 8 may be available .

 

Pretty pumped...this week I found a Fair Maiden (in CT) and today I got a Pieces of 8 from my craft beer shop. Gonna be a good weekend!

 

prospect can release tomorrow at the brewery. Not sure if they will be hitting distro. I'd love to see pieces of 8 in cans

I have seen less and less Foley Brothers available in CT. Anyone in CT notice that as well? All I see are old bottles of Ginger Wheat.

 

Looking forward to visiting them again next time we go to Vermont. It's so nice that they are 20 minutes away from our place in Rochester. I think cans will really broaden their appeal. I've all but given up buying large format bottles of anything.

 

i've seen a couple places around Burlington advertise a can release for prospect for the end of the week, so it's definitely going out to distro too.

I picked some Cans up at city market this afternoon . Bevi I posted that they had some too, I just stopped didn't see any in coolers but didn't ask..

 

apologies, yeah i saw city market and natural provisions advertising it (so i also assume healthy living is getting it too) and asked about it at the bevie and they said they were getting some.

 

I'm a little disappointed with the batch inconsistency. I've had fresh bottles of prospect that we're floral and a bit juicy and among the best hoppy beers I've had (the best batches similar to and even slightly surpassing MBC Dinner), but I've had more that were less remarkable. I thought it was a freshness thing, but I grabbed cans today and they aren't at that level. The beer has also ranged from that stereotypical New England haze to completely translucent, the latter being the case pouring from today's cans.

 

Their first canning I believe? Hope they learn and improve!
