Got to try Fair Maiden and Pieces of 8 on Christmas... was really impressed by both brews. Hope they start making their way into NH.

It's crazy to me that you don't get it there, but it sits on shelves in northern CT. Literally just saw a package store with about 30 bottles of Prospect/Citrennial/Pieces of 8

I actually got it from a friend that had been in VT the week before. NH alcohol laws are tough , so breaking into NH if you're an out of state brewer is somewhat difficult from what I've heard

Tried Pieces of Eight and Prospect for the 1st time NYE and enjoyed the hell out of them. Esp. Pieces of 8, phenomenal brew.

Curious as to when cans will make their debut here in CT.?

People don't know what it is perhaps? If bombers...well all bombers are shelf turds to some extent. They really need to move to all cans, and that stuff will go nuts. Citrennial is the one I see that sits longest in VT, but Prospect and Pieces of 8 move pretty fast, even in bombers.

Probably. If I see Po8 or Prospect, I usually buy all I can get my hands on.
Citrennial used to always be easy to find.
I haven't seen a non Ginger Wheat Foley Brothers beer at any of my regular stops here in Central CT in months.

This is almost always the issue. No matter how delicious it is, hard to justify a $8 price tag for what amounts to a pint of beer plus a tiny sip when there are four packs are delicious stuff for ~$15 nearby.

if they canned i'd be all over their beers. unless they pull a singlecut & still try to charge me $8 a can.

Yeah, I was really surprised at the Singlecut pricing. Great beers, but going from $7 500 ml to $6.50 pint cants ain't doing much for me.

Yeah everyone (including me) has bitched about Trillium pricing but their most expensive canned beer was (Headroom) was $5.75 a can. It's crazy that Singlecut canned & didn't lower the price significantly. Too bad, I really like their beer but I'm not shelling out that kind of money for it. Hopefully Foley wouldn't make that mistake.

Agreed, I went to Crafted in Holliston a couple of days ago and was astounded by the can pricing, along with the disclaimer they had up of "SingleCut asked us to separate these into single cans instead of four packs, however you can get 4 cans for $..."

Ended up just getting a bottle of Heavy Boots of Lead.

I am generally fine with Trillium's pricing as premium product, but there are limits. Singlecut would have had me as a regular customer had they priced the four packs in the ~$18 range, but at literally the same price as the bottles I'm going to pass next time I see it.

I always pass by the Singlecut stuff due to the price. There are too many beers at a much better price out there. Ive bought a few bottles in the past and always have felt let down. MBC and Singlecut won't get my business at this price point.

Does anyone know where to get Foley Bros. stuff in MA, currently? I'd love to give it a try.
