I'll be driving through Austin this weekend, but not staying. I mainly want to pick up some Live Oak, Blue Owl, and Heavy Machinery (if available). There was a post about a year ago saying that the Spec's near Highland Mall had freshness issues. Would I face limited availability at E1G? Spec's Southpark Meadows? I need to stay close to 35. Am I overthinking this, especially with the specific beer I want? Thanks.
HEB Mueller for your specific wants. HM DIPA is there already, but I'm not sure if it'll hit all of the larger shops by this weekend.
Remember that SXSW is going on this weekend. Mostly interactive and film this weekend but I would imaging you will find it pretty busy on C Chavez headed towards E1G. I might pick a spot not near downtown - Mueller HEB or Specs/HEB Hancock might be good options for what you are looking for.
