I have to imagine both locations will see some bottles of this, but I think the specific event is just at the Raleigh shop.

Had it on tap today at FF. Rather enjoyable saison (which granted describes most of Fonta Flora's saisons).

For those who are interested, Tasty (Raleigh) just got a very healthy supply of Illerwood and Creeping Jenny.

FYI, a few of my friends have had problems with Illerwood gushing like crazy. Still an awesome beer, just use caution opening.

I lost almost half the bottle down the sink, the rest was tasty though. FF responded on Untappd and said that perhaps my bottle wasnt cold enough, I'd say it was about 55 degrees for what its worth.

How often does Tasty get Fonta Flora?

Anyone know if Tasty still has Früt Lüps on?

Interesting to hear. I have had major issues with Blendi 3 gushing no matter how cold the bottles have been.

They along with State of Beer occasionally get some, but not the special release wild/fruites bottles. Those are the only bottle shops I know of in Wake County that get FF.

If you like Saison's I imagine Frut Lups would be considered excellent. Great crisp taste to it, almost light with that nice Saison after glow on the back end.

I had Früt Lüps on tap at Tasty in AVL, I was glad I did, just not my sort of beer I guess. Very belgian-saison, with almost an artificial citrus flavor and earthen undertones. And I swear, I almost get a little acetic acid on all of Fonta Flora's beers, but that might just be the yeast strains they are using.
