Odds are, you'll have no problem getting the saison. I imagine there is plenty of it to go around. as for rhythm rug, FF has done the following as release styles:
Hand out wristbands in the taproom the preceding week, then you line up in order on Saturday.
Just announce it's available on social media (which wont happen for this bottle unless they release a small amount for the locals, as everyone knows it's Saturday)
or, Just line up...first come, first serve

Just to add another release method: Last year they sold tickets for RR online and you picked up the day of the release. I believe they had 2 bottle and 4 bottle allotments for that system.

    Appreciate the responses!!

so the wrist band thing is something I should try to go by on Friday to grab before the release on Saturday or just line up real early on saturday and hope there's some left?

If they go that route and if you're there on Friday, absolutely try to stop by to get one as it'll make things easier. Typically for those releases they set limits so that everyone with a wristband gets the release, unless its something that they have less of than the number of wristbands (such as the magnums that they occasionally release).

They haven't actually said how they're doing this release yet. They can't do the 'just drop the bottles' style for this obviously and its way too late to do tickets like they did RR last time. So it'll either be wristbands or stand in line (or yet another style, they do like to test things out). My guess it'll be stand in line since we typically would have heard by now if it was going to be wristbands.

Just announced as a wristband release. A bit different than before in that they'll be starting wristbands on Monday instead of the more typical Wednesday. They may or may not be putting out wristbands on Saturday from 12-2. Also have DDH Double Hop Beard and 3 rum barrel stouts (which has been announced before, but just reiterating) on draft and growler, no bottles.

If you get a wristband, does that mean you are guaranteed bottles?

And are you able to pick up your bottles at any time once you have a wristband (not wait in line)?

    Thanks.

The wristband guarantees bottles. You must line up at opening, I think 3. You can not just show up at anytime. The wristband basically holds your place on line.

The flip side is that you don't know how many bottles the wristband guarantees you since for wristband releases the limits are determined once they know how many wristbands are given out. And yeah, be in line at 3. You can immediately get back in line and go through again, so not being in line means you'll likely miss out on beer.

@treznor question on wristbands? Are there a set number of wristbands or do they hand out as many as people want then adjust allocations based on the number handed out? Im def gonna try to stop in now(for wristbands) on way to Asheville from DC.

Who knows until they actually announce more details, but in the past they've given out as many wristbands as people showed up for them (at least until Friday night, don't remember if they handout wristbands on Saturday morning or not) and adjusted limits based on the number of wristbands given out and roughly whether there are extra people without wristbands. I've been to a handful of wristband releases and haven't seen anyone get shut out that wanted beer as long as they were there when the release started.

That being said... releases during special events tend to draw more people (obviously) and if beer is going to sell out without everyone that's there on time getting some, it'd be during something like this.

need a hug/big shrug last year was an event such as this. Did wristbands all the way up until noon or so Sat. of the event. Allocations were determined based on wristbands. Then I am fairly sure folks at the front went to the back and were able to get more.

    Details on release via Facebook:
Wristbands for this Saturday’s Rhythm Rug release are available this afternoon from 5:00-9:00. •

To clarify some questions y’all have voiced, please read below. •

This will be one of our wristband method releases. We will begin handing out wristbands starting today, November 6th during our normal pub hours. This will continue throughout the week during our normal business hours. If applicable, we will start giving out wristbands on Saturday from 12:00-2:00. You must present an ID in order to receive a wristband. You must be 21 to receive a wristband. On the day of purchase, your wristband and ID must match the name we have when you received the wristband. The wristband allows you to leave and come back however you must be in line when it’s your numbers turn to purchase bottles. If you have a wristband, you are guaranteed a Rhythm Rug bottle. •

We will know the bottle count and limit for Rhythm Rug on Wednesday, November 8th. •

You do not need a wristband to attend the party or enjoy any of the draught offerings. You only need a wristband if you are hoping to obtain Rhythm Rug bottles. •

Did they ever release the bottle count and limits for Rhythm Rug for Saturday's party yesterday? I didn't see anything about it if they did.

They likely wont release limit information until shortly after 2 on saturday when they finish handing out bands. The limit will likely be 1 or 2 per person on rug. AWAS members get 3 each plus a magnum (basically 3 more bottles) for 200ish members (1,200 bottles). 400+ bottles-worth got set aside for a members only blend for next year (17 rug rested on strawberry/black pepper preserves in cherry wine barrels...drool). I'm not sure what number they are on for wristbands, but it's got to be creeping up there.
I don't know how much they made, but that's already a lot allocated out.

I would've thought they would release the info much later but they posted on instagram that they would know limits and bottle count on Wednesday, November 8th. That along with all the posts saying details soon I figured they'd release some info too. I stopped by the brewery last night to get wristbands later in the evening and got 93.

These are my questions. The post says anyone with a wristband will get a bottle at least. I am planning on going there this evening. I hope there will still be wristbands...

If its anything like they've ever done before, there will be wristbands. There will still be wristbands tomorrow until close. I was surprised they said they'd release limits on Wednesday since they've never set limits on wristbands before until Saturday because they've always said you'll get beer if you have a wristband. Which should be true until they give out more wristbands than beer (which has never happened yet). The wristband releases are probably my favorite style, nice combo of hooking up locals with making sure everyone gets beer.
