Pre sales seem to work well for WW. Can't imagine why it wouldn't work well for FF as well. >shrugs<

the current limit should accommodate more people than most of the previous releases did.

@HopBeard When can we expect to find out if there will be a presale or not? Just trying to figure out what time I will need to leave the triangle to head your way.
Also, if there is a presale where will that be announced?

    Thanks in advance!

No pre sale for the release this Saturday. However, thanks for all of the information on pre sales. I think moving forward, we will implement some type of pre sale system. Saturday will be a blast and not too cold. Stoked to have y'all out in Morganton. Cheers!

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have yet to attend one of the release days at Fonta Flora (definitely looking forward to this one though) and was wondering if anyone could provide any guidance on arrival time? It seems that some people are looking to show up Friday, but I can't swing that and any ballpark estimate would be greatly appreciated.

I think showing up on Friday is probably a little overkill for a 3 PM release. Wouldn't be surprised if the Morganton police took issue with this.

Where has anyone seen people mention lining up the night before? Aside from this thread, I haven't seen that anywhere.

I think it's just here (and our group texts haha). Maybe we all should just say what time we plan to get in line in this thread so we don't drive the hype up anymore.

*I'm already in line, and I'm about 30 from the front so you all better hurry up

    hey! found you!

I would love to get there at 12, and think that's good enough, but there's no way I'm lining up before 10.

    Going along with @asams10 suggestion:
I was planning on showing up around 1:30 or so.

I don't like pre-sales for the most part, as I often don't know whether I can go to a release until right before it. Plus, and call me crazy, I kind of like the whole event feel of having to get there early and get in line and wait and everything that comes with that. The last couple at Fonta Flora have been handled very well IMO and been days full of very fun memories for myself and the gal.

Won't be at this one, but y'all have fun, be careful, and treat each other well and it will be just as awesome as the others. Sal was fantastic on draft so I'm sure the bottles will be even better as FF bottles always are.

I would think noon should be sufficient.

I'm aiming for 1:30 or so as well.

Anybody have any insight on how FF and those in the area handle release day line bottle shares? this has been fun at other events I've been to, although maybe not strictly... legal?

I'd get there earlier than 1:30 if you want to get Sal. Could be wrong, but why cut it close?

This is why proxies make sense, although probably not for the batch sizes that FF is putting out right now. There are a lot of loyal fans that don't work traditional hours, and allowing for their bottles to be held or picked up by a proxy recognizes that fact and doesn't penalize those that don't have the luxury of every weekend off.

Meh, still takes away from the experience IMO. I very much work traditional hours, I just have other stuff to do this particular weekend. The bottle releases should be about rewarding whomever can come that weekend and do what is necessary to get them. Not to make sure that everyone who feels they are entitled to them gets an equal chance. IMO of course.

Anyway the title of this thread could be changed to "Fonta" rather than "Fanta"? It's driving me nuts.
