Looks like they upgraded their label, good for them.

This sounds very tasty! The label change was definitely in their best interest. Will definitely have to trade for a bottle once it has been released.

I'm new to NC. Is this brewery-only, or will it have wider distribution?

Should have fairly wide distribution, but could sell out quickly at some bottle shops. Last year both the BA and Coffee BA was available at the brewery for months IIRC.

Its turning into a non-event. I went last year. Bottle share the night before was a dud. Couple of neckbeards not sharing with anyone outside of their tables. The main setup for the bottleshare didn't have much and the band was way too loud. I wouldn't go back, especially since it was showing up at bottle shops all over town. The highlight of the weekend was the vintage sale and getting an Olde Rabbits Foot and Lexington BBQ on the way up.

That coffee variant last year was real real good. Looking forward to it again this year, also enjoy the low key ness of it all now

Kinda like the new label...hope they didn't change to be "correct"!

Should be interesting seeing what they do with 'hosting' at the new location, but yeah, I've long stopped going to the bottle shares.

It used to be such a great event; but with as much of it as they make, other beers that are far better, and Foothills really refusing to do much when it comes to 'experimentation', I've stopped going. Similar story for most of my beer friends, there are just better options at bottles shops and locally.

Still will try it when kegs hit around the area though, as its usually pretty tasty.

    I had a c64 and an Amiga 500, 2000, 3000 and a very hopped up A1200.
All gone now. Except for the Forever emulator.
    Beer is good too!

I had a bottle yesterday and enjoyed it very much. There is plenty of it sitting around in the Triangle.

Drinking one now (via growler). It's good.

Compared to last year's BBA coffee version, I find the coffee taste to be less acidic, burnt, and earthy and a little more sweet and mellow. To me, the coffee blends a little bit better with the bourbon than last year and cuts a bit of the booziness. I think I might prefer the 2018 batch, but the 2019 feels more balanced overall.
