BASC is typically in the past been brewery only and sells out the day of release. You never know though, some might sneak to distro, or some might remain.

There was plenty of it last year on Sunday when I stopped in on my way back into town. Had no problem grabbing 6.

I don't think it's ever made it to distro.

No, never hit distro before. I don't think bottles will this year either, but wouldn't be surprised if a keg or (2) got out. I think last year they sold out around 1130? That's about what time I can make it this year so I hope that's not the case this time!

This will be my first year being able to make the release. How is the bottle share at the brewery the night before? Do you open your own bottles or just put them up with all of the bottles other people brought? If you keep track of your own bottles are coolers ok? Food? Can we bring our own snacks? Water? Do we need to bring our own or will we have access to water to fill up our own bottles?

Last but not least I'm super pumped to be able to make it this year. I will be going with at least 1 other person and possibly 3 others.

Ah, no not this year. Event Horizion is still on the shelf , it's cheaper and IMO it's better. The bottle share can be amazing , but I'm done sitting on sidewalks.

Hit up the night before just to experience it. Open up a bottle, pour some for yourself and others and then place it on the table. Refill your cup as necessary. Some nice bottles will be around but mostly non-local shelf stuff, don't get wrecked. The night before is for (IMO) making friends for the morning after. The real fun starts the next morning. Coolers are fine in past years but just gotta make sure you snag a good table/spot to put it by. All the big guns come out in the morning share and best of all it is free! Don't have to buy BASC, don't have to buy food nothing! Just good times and good beer. Bring water as refills may be sparse from the hectic ordering of the sausage biscuits! :stuck_out_tongue:

With there being 2 other releases on the same day, I would say chances are there will be leftovers.

I'd think pretty good, I'd be there at opening on Sunday though, a lot of guys might be thinking the same thing. Probably still be on tap at the worst.
