I didnt and did not see most people getting the full 12. Most people were getting 6-8.

Thanks! Trying to guage the likely hood of bottles being available tomorrow at noon. My gut says there will still be some.

What a good release as always. Foothill's is always accommodating even when the weather is not. Glad to see many old friends, met some new ones, and was able to drink a load of very tasty beer. Water, you are the real MVP today.

Very impressed with this batch. Seems more balanced than previous years. Had no problem polishing off that bomber!

It was a great event. The share last night was super fun. I was thrilled too meet some awesome new people after just moving to the area. Can't wait until the next NC beer gathering!

Just left the tasting room and they still have a lot. He gave me a taster and it's fantastic.

I agree, its drinking fairly good this year. A little roast on the finish, but plenty of good bourbon notes.

What does the barrel aged version cost? To me the regular sexual chocolate is a good imperial stout but outrageously overpriced.

$20. I think the price is fair if people are willing to pay for it.

I've been to the last three release parties at Foothills and this one was no different. Great beer, great food, but even better people. This one wasn't quite as crazy as the one back in August but I imagine that the timing, weather, etc. played a part in that. Regardless, I'll keep going to the Friday parties as long as they're around.

Feel kind of silly getting in line at 7am on Saturday considering they still have some bottles left. Oh well, better safe than sorry though, right? The draft BASC and the accompanying sausage biscuit made the morning well worth it though!

    10/10 Foothills, keep it up!

Does anyone know the type of bourbon barrels used? I also noticed the label says 4 months aged in bourbon barrels is that typical for this beer?

It's tasting great but I'd love to see what an extra 8 months in those barrels would do.
