I heard at brewvival that Foothills wants the price to be around 7.99 a bottle and it will be distributed!

Thats awesome if that turns out to be the case. A reasonably priced BA beer is always welcome, especially one you don't have to wake up early and wait in line for.

BB People's Porter is great, but if they ever bottle BA Total Eclipse...get out of my way. Phenomenal beer!

This is what I like to hear! I have a few trading partners who would love to try this one, but getting growler fills of it have been a little difficult for the most part.

guys it will be sold across the state at various stores and at the brewpub, heading out to the market next week. the barrels are 20 year old Pappy Van Winkle barrels, we scored a buttload of them this year. we are going to sell about 240 cases in total.

Sweet! Personally, when it comes to the bourbon, I actually like the 20-year better than the 23-year.

I'll have to add this to my list if I have any birthday money left after KBS + the haul my friends are bringing back from CA for me.

Anybody in that area willing to pick me up a few bottles I'll hook ya up well.

I had this last year and it was amazing, I would love to have it again.

I am curious as of when, where and who you had this with?

A place called "Growlers" in Hilton Head had a 1/2 barrel they were filling growlers of last May. I probably stopped by to get a refill 5 times in the 3 days I was there.

So I heard this is in stores...anyone tried the bottled version yet this year? I understand previous batches have been hit-or-miss..

Regular People's Porter is available in bottles now. I don't think the -bal version hits the RDU area until Tuesday (based on when I'll be able to pick up some). Could be released elsewhere in NC now, but I kinda doubt it.

Anyway, there was one particular barrel treatment that was off, but there have been many many more that have been outstanding.
