Didn't see anything on here about this yet so thought I would post it. Looks like foothills has just brewed an imperial version of their Jade IPA. Here's the beer pulse link, but its also noted on their Facebook page. http://www.beerpulse.com/2012/08/foothills-papa-jade-double-ipa-to-debut-on-tap/

Can't wait for this. Looks like it will be ready in about a month, hopefully it will coincide with the BASC release so I can grab a growler of it!

Can't wait for this one. Have a growler of Jade in the fridge. Gonna drink some tonight!!

Was there this past weekend and they had 2 new brews on tap that I had never seen there before....little foot and another one that I can't remember the name of, but it had sunshine in the name.

Enjoy that growler of Jade, I had one a few weeks ago and couldn't help but drink the whole thing in one sitting

Liquid Sinshine, I think. Unfiltered honey lager.

Jade is a top tier IPA. I am seriously thinking about starting a grass roots movement to encourage Foothills to bottle this and make it a year-rounder, who's with me? Come on Everybody.....

I'm in. Love the beer culture and community and what not in NC but we do need more good IPAs.

We need to make an actually good bottled IPA. Death by Hops is close, and Hoppyum doesnt hold a candle to Two-Hearted, Founders Centennial, or Great Lakes Commodore Perry.

Death by hops is there. Excellent pallet smasher. Ive traded it to CA BA's and they loved it. Mother Earth IPA can hold its own at the top level as well. Also Foothills Jade. Oh wait you said bottles ok skip that one. That aside, agreed that given the number of breweries in the state we should have more top level IPA's.

You can always have someone grab you a growler, plus I'm sure it'll be a huge hit and they'll brew it again
