Puddle is the manager of Halls in Colleyville. Our local freedom fighter for great craft
Oh, well this is my first time on this thread, but I'll for sure be keeping up with it now! lol
I had a good couple days buying beer, spent some money, but it is all going to be delicious. Spread this out between Halls, Specs Walnut, TW Walnut, and WF Park. Got 3 Enjoy Bys (which are fresh and delicious). Looking forward to drinking it all.
Left to Right:
Ovila Abbey Quad with Plums
Ballast Point Sea Monster
Saint Arnold Endeavour (fresh)
Jester King El Cedro
Ballast Point Dorado (fresh)
Stone Enjoy By 04.01.13
Clown Shoes Blaecorn Unidragon
Green Flash Palate Wrecker
Does anyone know if any of the "craft beers" at the North Texas Irish Festival are worth a damn? It looks like a Guinness sponsored event, so I'm hesitant to make the trip out there.
Picked up an Ovila Abbey Quad, Enjoy By, and a Old Guardian from Halls. Has anyone tried the Smoked Oak OG yet?
First enjoy by tried tonight... pretty good DIPA. Not the best I have ever had, but pretty good + a good gimick that exposes craft beer flaws (ie no bottling date). Worth it for sure!
Honkers ale 6pk
Urban wheat 6pk
For anyone who missed it, total wine Dallas some how still has some bottles of BA Bigfoot!!
I know, I was surprised. I see 3 left. 1 bottle limit.
Wish I could make it over there. Good share though, hope some solid advocates who missed out get one.
I must pop some beers with you my friend!
Where were they? I don't see them
Well I'm a tard. 2 left.
Gah. At Customer Service desk. One left.
Any word on 512 WBDPP in DFW?
Houston hit today, I'd guess we're going to be sometime between tomorrow and Friday?

Does this mean Karbach at Spec's Walnut today?
I'll swing by shortly to see. I know they plan on being here by e.o.y.
Even your posts read like a lawyer
Present evidence -> logical conclusion
It's at Specs, even the new Barn Burner Saison.
Barn Burner tastes like a weak Trois Pistoles... This isn't a saison to me.
Any rodeo clown? Had some the other day on tap locally. I will probably head up there in a little bit.
Ya Rodeo Clown, Weissa Versa, Hopadillo and Sympathy for the Lager also.
This is a one time shipment apparently.
Damn it man. Dallas is a long way for Weissa. How much did they get?
Are you going to Denton this weekend? I believe 2 cases of each style... I could be wrong that was just the ole eyeball test.
That beer is delicious, though.
Considering the drive...
I am. F I love that stuff. Anybody dallas side going to Seth's gig?
I probably am. I'll grab you some Weissa Versa. One 6pk?
Most def. I want cases upon cases but 6 will do... Oh yes it will
Cedar Creek Lawn Ranger 16oz 4pk cans. Fresh!
more Jester King RU55
I think Fern posted the Goose Island brews, but just in case they're in Denton county now as well!
Check out Total Wine and Specs off Bryant Irvin.. Both have great stuff to offer.
Enjoy By (lots)

I've really come around on that Total. I was very suspecting but damn if I haven't had a great experience each time. Unfortunately it's kinda out of the way but they are the only place that's has gotten Sucks that I've seen so I break over there a couple time a month.
me too, please.
Hey DFW, im coming up from Htown tomorrow for the better part of the weekend. Would like to hit up a bottle shop or two, grab some stuff that i might not find in houston. Not entirely sure what part of DFW ill be staying in, would definitely appreciate any suggestions y'all might have.
Hall's if you're near Colleyville, Lonestar if you're near 35/Frankford (ish), Kegs & Barrels/Specs/Whole Foods/CM if you're in Plano, and Specs/Whole Foods/Central Market/Total Wine elsewhere. I can't speak at all to Ft Worth/Arlington, but that's the general overview.
Any sign of Barrel Ageed Double Pecan Porter this year?
Stick to Dallas if you want beers not readily available in Houston ( Deep Ellum, Lakewood, etc)
If you are in Fort Worth. The Saucer is doing their Barleywine Fest on Saturday at noon til whenever the beer is gone. They'll have pours of BA Bigfoot and BA Kickin Chicken (I think that's what it's called but I've kicked back a few myself tonight and am too lazy too look), '12 Bigfoot, Olde School, '11 and '12 Sisyphus on draft.
Live Oak Music Hall is doing pours tonight. Cheap tulips... Tasty stuff
Specs on Bryant Irvin was the only place I saw palate wrecker and its gone now I believe, but I've seen sucks up there just about every time I've been there.
I heard that place is a ghost town...I haven't been in yet but until the highway gets cleared up that place is going to well off my radar. You happen to know if they got the BA Bigfoot there?
