I was able to stop into the taproom late last night with a friend and the hype for Radio Swan is totally legit. Also, Atomic Child blew me away as well. Both had very low bitterness and very soft mouthfeels. Both were spot on for the "NEIPA style." I drank two glasses of each but easily could've drank more. Also, I had the opportunity to meet and talk with @KrajDoesBeer for a little bit and he was very approachable and an all around good dude. You guys are killing it with the IPAs, keep up the great work.

 

I did the same thing today at Whole Foods Lincoln Park ... just couldn't pass it up! For those still looking, they had at least 3 more 4-packs.

 

Glad you made it in man- Great to meet you as well and chat all things beer.. enjoy the rest of your time in town! leave out the "You" though... that's allll @BJP when it comes to the brews! Ha... cheers!

 

Hey, @BJP and @KrajDoesBeer, can you guys host a chitown BAdv bottle share and beer education seminar?

 

Would be v interested. How many ppl? When? Let us know and we'll add it to the Monday meeting for discussion.

 

Please please do it on a Friday! I would love to do bottle share but I travel Mon-Thu and can never make them. Obviously, the world doesn't revolve around me.

Regarding time - is there a "quiet" day at FR? I think any time that isn't M-F 9-5 would attract a lot of interest, and we wouldn't want to disrupt existing business.

Exactly. And depending on the crowd, you can even crank up the beer nerdiness level a little and for IPAs talk specifically about NEIPAs. Stuff that makes them unique like additives/adjuncts, water chemistry, hop schedules, etc. Or not. Just thinking and typing at the same time, haha.

So @BJP, myself and the team just finished our Monday meeting. We are in for having a share!

We are thinking 7:30 PM on a Monday and last about 2 hours. It would be for you guys, the BA members. We would have you PM me your email so we can invite you via Facebook to keep track who would be in. We are thinking 8/28 could be the first one and we will go from there!
