I really had no idea that me mentioning spring break with my kids at Disneyland was going to snowball like it did. But, when @Quilentro is around, I have learned that the conversation really can go anywhere.

Great share, even if I had to duck out a bit early. I can't believe how many IPAs we had this time around, and I loved the Fundamental Observation courtesy of @Zoomslowik. I also love these shares because they are a chance for me to delve into some sours/wild ales, which aren't usually my style. I really enjoyed a few of the ones I had last night, including the Trillium Permutation Twenty Eight.

That was a great share... wow that Barleywine... some fun breweries I’ve never had mixed in with some special brews like Coconut Vibes, FO, Coconut B-Bomb, OG New Glarus stuff etc.. so many good brews..

Thanks for coming out! We will get next one in books soon.

    Cheers!

Really glad I'm not at work right now. We might have jumped the shark on the multi-beer thing.

We definitely jumped the shark on the multi-beer thing...so clearly we need to go bigger next time. Lets jump the next largest predator.

really nice to get to meet a few of you in person last night.

the new Forbidden Root sour IPA is excellent. Can't wait for more of this and more in this style from FR.

    thanks @KrajDoesBeer !

Cracked the Strawberry Basil hefeweizen tonight. Very strawberry forward with a dry basil finish...this is as advertised on that end.

As far as the hefeweizen angle...this just tasted like a straight-up fruit beer to me; can't say I got any clove / banana notes that I usually get from the style.

As others have stated here, this should be a real nice summer sipper.

Know I’m a little late on this one, but i came to the realization at the share that trading for hazy IPAs is really stupid. It’s basically just wasting money in shipping.

They all taste pretty good, and they’re all very similar.

Some do it better than others, (and I’d put FR among the best), but you’re best to simply drink local and you really won’t be missing anything.

Yup, this is how I've felt since Corridor, FR and Hop Butcher (among others) really started to churn these out. Even if there were a difference in quality, it's not enough to make trading worthwhile, and it's much more fun (for me) to support local places. Not to mention it's easier to stock up.

I don't do it very often anymore, but there are definitely still a few places that do it well enough that I end up searching them out.
