Power Trip definitively has a pungent hop flavor. I tasted the dankness you're referring to. I wonder if that hop bite would die down a bit with a couple weeks of age.

Thanks for the feedback! I would agree that there was/is an initial greenness on PowerTrip similar to some of the early can batches of Snoochie & Radio. We've been able to dial in the process on SB & RS, but this first (*shoosh* I'm not implying anything) batch of Power Trip was going to see a touch of green we couldn't quite anticipate tasting after it went into the bright tank (read: hoppy beer in the fermenter is always going to have some of that taste to it).

Good news? That initial greenness is already starting to fade. Better news? We know what to change in our process to fix it next time (again, not implying anything). Thanks for helping us improve our process.

That's kind of my issue...this is more of the dry/not fruity Trillium school of NE IPA, while I want the fruit bomb Tree House school.

Now I understand your original comment better. I enjoy both, but I can totally see where you're coming from.

On my way. I'm ready for a burger, shot of bourbon and a Power Trip!

I let the hype get the best of me, and grabbed a couple howlers of Power Trip. It's gonna be a long week waiting to open 'em!

For as many times as I've been to Forbidden Root I have never tried the burger. Had it tonight and it was amazing. One of the better burgers I've had in the city.

Power Trip is developing nice. Tasting smoother than it was on Friday. I think come 1-2 weeks this will be at its best.

Went with the wife tonight for burgers for the first time, and we were definitely not disappointed. I also really enjoyed the power trip, but that radio swan paired with the burger perfectly. All the goodies in the bags were a really nice surprise, and a monster piece of burger cake!!

Thank you. Well done. Keep doing what you're doing!

Oh I love Trillium's can art - its some of my favorite out there.

Also, just have to say - I finally got to try the cans of Atomic Child this weekend (had been out of town during the can release but a buddy grabbed me some cans). DAMN - that was fantastic. I've got a bunch of trillium in my fridge right now from my trip out east and all I want to drink is Atomic Child. Well done @BJP and company! Please keep that one in the can rotation.

Power Trip was balls. I wouldn't change a thing. I've had plenty of green/astringent NEIPA's from around here and this was NOT one of them imo. There was a little bit of a hope bite (which I loved) but no lingering astringent off-notes at all.

I haven't tried it yet, but that's how I prefer my NEIPAs as well. And why I like Corridor's so much (not all of theirs have that bite, but my favorite ones do). So you have convinced me to make the trip this week to try this one.

This is exactly why I had to grab 2 howlers (instead of 1). "Super-hopped Snoochie Boochies" is already an easy way to get my interest, but the thoughts on Power Trip so far have sounded right up my alley.

Didn't make it yesterday but was wondering if there were surprises. Thought that was mentioned

Someone mentioned a bag of goodies, I think? I know they were also giving out slices of cake (from a burger-shaped cake, no less) to people who had the $15 burger deal. I stopped in for crowlers and was sad I couldn't stay.

It was a cool suede? material howler bag that had some stickers, pins, seeds from the wildflowers of WPA, the recipe for their pickles, and a growler card with 3 spots stamped. It was a nice surprise!

Yep. Very cool gesture. The giant burger cake was awesome and tasted great too. And the Hamburgler was in the house...
