The lack of "carbonic bite" is probably why I find a lot of these to be too sweet for me. My platonic ideal NEIPA is a slightly undercarbed, not too sweet one with a bit of hop bitterness at the end.

 

This immediately made me think to text my wife to see if she can pick up some Pedialyte at Target today while she is shopping.

I'm guilty for bringing a 3rd beer, but it's just a 16 ounce can...that's like an ounce for each person, it can't harm anyone.

 

My pedialyte is in the fridge for tomorrow! Appointment with my steam room to sweat it all out.

Pro tip bring the pedialyte IN the steam room.

In my defense all three of my bottles are 12 ouncers so they basically add up to what i'd usually bring.

 

I think I got drunk just looking at the spreadsheet just now. Wow. Should be fun!

Tomorrow is the first beer pairing dinner...

I got the idea from some of you and some other regulars. I asked what would make you come to FR more than your normal habit? this was the most repeated answer... Going to be second Wednesdays of month for now!

i wasnt particularly interested in my teams 8am meeting anyway.

 

Don't worry, I plan on limiting my pours and soaking everything up with a la pasadita burrito afterwards.
