Yeah, the cans of Ghost Tropic I had last year were pretty stellar. I need to find some once my bumpkin ass crosses I-80 and gets out of the sticks on Sunday.

Maybe I'll pack some glitter so I can distract one of the hoopleheads up there while I snatch some...

Finally got to try ghost tropics. Agree with the general concensus. Phenominal beer.

 

Bottles and Cans had Snooch and Ghost Tropic Last Night. Wasn't expecting to see Ghost Tropic, but picked up a 4 pack. It is phenomenal. Despite the fact it might possibly be the most disgusting beer in terms of looks I've ever seen- it looks like someone dumped their bong water into a glass of swamp sludge, a green muddy mess- this beer had a beautiful aroma and juicy, bright flavor. If FR could get more stuff in the 6.5% or less abv range with this kind of flavor I'd be a much bigger fan. A 16oz can of 8.2% beer like Ghost Tropic for me equals an earlier evening than I would like.

 

It looks like a beautiful haze storm, you shut your mouth.

 

Are we talking like cstegory F5 level stuff? Out of curiosity I looked, and there are a lot of beers named after bong water. I can't say I'm surprised.

 

I made it into FR today to try out Ghost Tropic. It was solid, it I preferred Snoochie Boochies (draft version) to it. They still had cans - I passed due to how much beer I already have.

Also tried the BA Keinie Krumel, which was tasty.

 

Have you gone in and tried the Piccolo? I feel like that packs an amazing flavor for 4.3%.

I actually thought Snoochie Boochies was far more “disgusting” looking than Ghost Tropic. Both taste great but as far as appearance is concerned I thought GT looked great.

I drank a Snoochie Boochies, now drinking a Ghost Tropic, and finishing with a Toro to celebrate a great March Madness weekend. It’s pretty awesome to be able to consume 3 different fresh cans of FR hazies on the same weekend! Cheers!

 

@KrajDoesBeer hopefully your fragile psyche is on the rebound. Sorry, pun was not intended there.

Any GT cans left? I've struck out at my usual stops. I'll be in the city tomorrow and before I work up the embrassment of asking the family to stop for me, I wanted to check.

EDIT: Anyone have a line on these in south burbs? Struck out at OB and OP Binny's.
