FORE!!!!! BIF HINTS AND HAULS

I will start this off. JohnnyB and I will be putting our box on the fedex truck today heading north of the FL border to a state with over 300 Golf courses. But our targets city does not have one!!! Box should be arriving Saturday because that's how me and JohnnyB roll in the F L A!

 

I guess we might as well get a 'golf courses per state' theme going. Of the states represented in this BIF, Beerontwowheels and I are sending a 12 bottle shipper to a state that is in the top half of the list, with over 600 courses. The box should be hitting the road early next week.

 

Got together with ScottP last weekend, and we planned out our box. It woud already be in the mail, except we need to pick up a few things....

Our box is heading southwest-ish. Being in New England, this does not help much, but if this was easy, everyone would be doing it.

 

Well I think I need a mulligan on this, I failed to make it to the Fedex office in time. Soooo our box will be arriving Monday or Tuesday!

 

There is a FedEx man approaching the green for a tap in birdie somewhere in the Northeast. In fact, the FedEx location that it departed from is in a different state than the one in which the target lives.

BOOM. Word from home is that a dangerously heavy box just arrived on the front step. ...given that I live about 2 miles from New Hampshire, in Vermont, I'm starting to think me and ScottP are the lucky recipients of Box #1 in this BIF! Or, this is an amazing coincidence.

 

Haven't done more than preliminary planning, don't even remember who our target is. Have a 12 hole shipper to fill though and were gonna drain it into each and every one.

 

One bottle still needed for Brees and I's box. Box is headed to a duo that I've never traded with before.

 

Picked up the last bottle for our box at a release in SF yesterday. Box will be headed east early this week!

 

Don and I are waiting for one more beer trip next weekend before we ship our package westward to a state that has more golf courses per capita then MA does but probably no where near as many as my town does (7 golf courses for population of <1200, random fact- wikipedia says we were once listed in the Guiness Book of World Records for most golf courses in a US town). The fresh IPA will probably be coming at a later date to keep it's freshness!

 

Sorry for the lack of haul pics so far, but we got an awesome box from willseph and his partner!! Opened it at a BBQ with my partner and friends on Saturday...of the beers they sent, Zombie Dust was included and was consumed within a few hours of opening the box. Always a treat to have ZD here in the northeast!

I'll keep you in suspense regarding the other bottles for now... I will say, if it wasn't for the quantity of other beers consumed that day, the roughly 1,384 new black fly bites all over me, and the vicious hangover yesterday, I'd already have posted pictures. Instead, pics are coming, I promise!

ONE 32lb box out for Deliver in a city that has a temp of 69.2 as i type this. We did include a page describing what bottles or cans were for what hole. So don't lose it.

Absolutely. The senders were kind enough to label each hole, very helpful.

 

Also be very carefull opening the box, we packed our holes very tightly. You may even need to cut one particular FRESH Growler out!
