@Dando274 summed it up pretty well, the only thing I would add is that they will fill growlers other than their own.

For two places that opened up around the same time Forest & Main has managed to be great, low key and not over-run with the douchiness that goes with Tired Hands.

I love it! Has anyone tried the Broer Seizon yet?

Anybody know the wisdom behind the move (back) to 750 mL bottles? Tired Hands seems to have done this for the most part as well (although I don't think they used to do it in the past like F&M did) and I know its been discussed a bit before. 2015 at F&M was almost exclusively 500 mL, which I much prefer. I know some will argue that the 750s are a "better deal" but I don't really see it that way. They're harder to finish myself and I hate the higher price point, even if it is a bit cheaper by the ounce. I guess it helps them sell out quicker (less bottles to sell), but personally I spend more on 500 mL bottles than I do on 750 mL just because of the cost per bottle difference.

If I go to the Farmer's Market tomorrow for crowlers, I'll try to remember to ask.

I asked them this on Saturday. A number of reasons, but basically personal preference.
Convenience was a big one, 1/2 as many bottles to fill on bottling day. Also mentioned was that the larger bottles hold a larger label, so the artwork is more more visible. Another thing was the opinion (not tested, but they brew the beer and would know better than anybody) that the beer conditions differently in the bigger bottles. Another thought was that the larger format may encourage opening with friends and sharing.
So, in answer to your question, nothing definitive.

I would assume as long as they sell the 750mL format that they won't switch back to the 500mL.

Bottles have been around long after the release at lower yields than that. It's been nice to roll in and grab them later in the week.

Agreed--so much nicer than waiting in line for an hour or more to buy a couple of 4-packs.

The agonolia and lucaria ipas they had crowlers of at the farmers market were both killer

I love this place but its an hour drive each way. Hard to do when you show up to drink beer, the ride home always have to piss.

+1, I liked them both too. F&M can clearly make great modern IPA's in addition to their Belgian and English styles.

I do hope they bring some more canned tart/sour saisons to the market again soon. But I don't go every week so I may just be missing them and only getting the IPA's.

I really enjoy them showing up on Saturdays in Glenside. While on one hand it's almost the same amount of time for me to get to Glenside as it is Ambler it's half the mileage. Plus them having the bottle release on Saturday is more manageable for me than a Sunday.

This is the Forest & Main I get excited about. Let everyone else have the IPAs and pale Saisons. On one hand I'm glad it's on cask on the other hand that means I can't get a growler...

I agree. I don't know if they have brewed it recently, but their Omphalos (English Barleywine) on cask was devine.

Anyone have any thoughts on the craziness of the Marius release or is it pretty nice there. Would love to roll up around 4 and be on my way. Also is it cash only?

Slow, but steady. Got there about 4:30, about 45 minutes in line. Only a few people left in line as I was leaving. May still be some left as I saw a lot of people not getting a full allotment of 6 bottles?
