It was the most crowded release Ive ever seen at F&M. The line was painfully slow. I was 12th in line and it took about 20 minutes for them to finally ring me up. They need a more efficient system or better yet another register. Other than that it was nice.

I'm not sure where to start here but here goes. This brewery is juuuuust on the border of convenience to travel to which means it's not really convenient to get to. I see some interesting reviews on Untappd etc of their crowlered ipas and I have always heard good things about their saisons are they usually around to purchase any given day? Basically what I am asking is there a good place to look for what is currently available to go? Would love to make an actual visit of it sometime but it looks like the best way to go there would be on the way home from work in which case it would be a quick stop. Thanks for any info, this place has been on my list for a long time but just not in the travel cards recently.

Their instagram and facebook page is the best spot. They update their site but not as frequent. Most of their bottles have been sticking around after their release except for the fruited ones it appears.

Crowlers are usually only available on Saturdays, either at the Farmers Market or at the bar. In the winter, the Farmers Market is in Glenside, if that is any more convenient for you. Growlers available at the bar for anything that is not on the hand pump. The website is usually up to date with what is on tap, Facebook will normally have a notice when something new goes on.
Closed on Mondays and open at 4 the rest of the week. 11:30 on Saturday and Sunday.
    Worth the trip.

If you don't take the time to have at least one pint of one of their cask English-style beers, you are selling yourself short. That is were Forest & Main shines, in my opinion. Although I haven't had any of their crowler IPAs yet.

The new IPA's are very good but I second what jmdrpi said about the cask beers.

saisons/casks/ipa's... i like just about all that F&M does but yeah the bitters/milds/saisons are very very well done more then 85-95% of the time i've had any.. I never worry that something is going to be off about any F&M beer's that's for damn sure

Same day as Yards Real Ale...bummer. Although I haven't gone to a F&M Anniversary party yet so at least I don't know what I'm missing.

Moeder saizon was really good. It was tough to get a beer there, caught the brewery band Hue Man and they were weird but really good. Overall nice event, would have been even better with a second bar set up. Awesome weather as well.

Pleasantly surprised by how quickly Antebellum sold out, and glad I got bottles before they did!

Is it the fruit that made it sell fast? Lately bottles have lasted a few weeks.

Its was probably a driving factor but I'm assuming the bottle count was extremely low. I wish they would let everyone know bottle counts when they post the information. I would have went down that day if I had known.
