Forest & Main (2018)

Anyone that may have missed out on they still have 4 bottles for onsite consumption. My wife and I had one today and it was incredible. Love Forest & Main.

 

Marius this Tuesday!!

 

Does anyone know how long it lasted last year? It sounds like they sold out that day, but was wondering if I should expect it to be sold out within an hour or two.

 

Since its not the weekend Im sure it will last all day Tuesday and may even make in into Wednesday.

 

Think Marius carried over last year, which was a weekend release. So, @Adrena1ine is probably accurate in Wednesday’s assessment. However, this year they have three varieties; more are likely to max out on the split production, and lower limits

 

if you want a set i wouldn't expect them to last till the next day

Do you expect a line on a Tuesday? There was no one there for last Thursday's release.

 

i'm sure they'll be a small line.. it's marius... it's basically the most sought after F&M... it's got fruit yo!

 

Easily got some at 4:15. The line was about the same as Chipotle at lunch. Glad I stopped to check.

 

I got there a little before 5pm.. love a nice low key release. According to their instagram they have a few of each left.

 

Just leaving now and they were at a less than a case per variant (at least what the bartender mentioned).

 

Anyone been to F&M lately? The new space next door opened recently and it is a really nice addition to the brewery! While I still love the coziness of the brewpub, it's nice to have a bit more space when visiting with a group, and the addition delivers this in spades. I stopped in on Saturday night and appreciated the different taplist (managed to have a pour of Beyond Duality before it kicked and wow, what a beer!), the huge wrap around bar, and overall coziness of the place. Already looking forward to my next visit!

 

Glad to hear. The snow kept me away last Thursday, but plan on checking it out this week.

Are they doing hand pump / cask beer in the new space? Food service?

 

No cask, no food service in the new spot.

 

Tried a Marius (Peach) for the first time this weekend. It was great as per usual F&M standards, but nothing well above their usual fare as I came to expect from hearing about past Marius iterations. I've liked a few of their other recent bottles a bit more. Had a slight medicinal taste at times, but overall I definitely can't complain. Excited to try the other variants.

 

Anyone know what bottles are available?

 

These were both there last time I was there and are listed on their website:

Fuerald Tinferres – 6% A saison brewed with lots of fresh ginger stalks from our family farm in the late summer of 2016 and then aged in oak barrels. Available for take away and in-house consumption.

Solaire Reserve – 5% Bright and crisp saison. Fermented with this year’s foraged yeast culture.
