Forest & Main (2018)

It sounds like F&M is doing some live music tomorrow in the new space next door to the spooky old house, if anyone hasn't been there yet. They seem to have a different set of beers on tap over there too, which is cool.

 

Everyone should check this out if you can. They had a few different Marius variants on tap last year, as well as some other special stuff. Plus, good music and cool springtime vibes.

 

Agreed - I went (early) last year, got one of the big cans and a few different marius pours and had a great time. It definitely got busier as the day progressed but I imagine the new space will make that easier for everyone.

 

2016 Marius def tasted and appeared to be Fruited at a higher ratio than 2017 variants although I haven’t had all of them yet.

 

Anyone been to one of their anniversary parties and care to weigh in on what we can expect for this weekend? I haven't been to the new location yet and it's supposed to be beautiful Sat so I was thinking of dropping by after a hike. Any bottle releases? Cool taplist?

 

Expect it to be crowded. They used to close down the streets out front and it helped with the crowded (with new space might be different) they will have vintage stuff for sale most likely and some special stuff on rotating taps. Last years they had crowlers but they sold out pretty quick. It will also have an element of weird also. The bands are usually eccentric. But with nice weather should be a good time.

Spoke with someone at the farmers market and he said within a few weeks they'll be selling 4pks

 

They posted a pic on instagram of a case of empty cans... I guess that means that they are ramping up their canning, which I'm looking forward to.

 

It means they'll be releasing 16oz cans sometime in the near future. I believe they referenced it in another recent post, too.

 

Yes, releasing 16 oz cans tomorrow. Looks like they are continuing with the trend of canning IPAs, not any of the English style beers or saisons.

 

I believe they canned a saison also, just not ready to be released.
The morning looks to be a pretty crappy time to hit the Farmers Market, I think I'll swing by later when they open .

One thing I like about F&M is that they can Saisons.

I love drinking Farmhouse style ales all the time in the warm months but cracking a 750mL daily just isnt practical.
