Ghost Marius is great. One of the best fruited saisons that i've had in awhile.

Was just at Forest and Main a week and half ago and their cask ale was killing it as usual. Had excellent cask pints of dry stout and dark mild - so much flavor in sub 4% abv beers. They had a stronger stout called Winter Kites that was really good too, although on traditional draft.

I also brought home cans of the same dark mild (The Ground Upon) and a black saison (Winter Friend). Both very tasty, I recommend picking some up for those that like drier dark beers. The Ground Upon has more roasty, earthy flavors that comes across like black tea or pipe tobacco, than just dark caramel flavor (like some dark milds).

It's worth noting that they have a food menu at the Newspace now. It's more of a bar type food menu with it being prepared next door and served as "take out". Burger, chicken sandwich, crab cake sandwich, tacos, nachos, fries, etc.

I’ve said it before, but man I wish this place was closer to me. I especially love their canned saisons, and no one else is even doing them around here.

Ugh, that sucks. Glad the locals are getting taken care of but I guess I better save my two cans of mild and special bitter =\

I absolutely love that they specialize in British styles and saisons; it's a nice break for me as I am a huge fan of both.

While I normally focus on drinking their British cask beers when I visit F&M, I ordered some cans for delivery a few weeks ago and was very impressed with one of their DIPAs, Ferryman. One of the best IPA's that I have drank recently - great balance between a fruit forward hop profile and classic dank bitterness with a great mouthfeel.

They're free to make up flavor names all they want, IMO. If they keep making quality beers they can say "notes of raw sewage, old asbestos and battery acid" and I'd still buy some.

I’m not buying something with notes of raw sewage. I don’t care how’s much I like the brewery!
